Transitional Return to Work

Transitional Return to Work (TRTW) places an injured employee with work restrictions into a temporary work environment with a non-profit agency while they are within their healing period.

Placement is found within a variety of non-profit organizations such as food pantries, thrift shops, animal shelters, etc.

The goal of TRTW is to provide an option to employers who are unable to accommodate the injured worker’s physical restrictions. Work at non-profit organizations is considered a viable modified duty job offer by the employer in most states.
